Additional Information
I went complete at most schools at the end of November/ beginning of December.
Checked the UGA status checker (11/21) and it read, "Congratulations, you have been admitted!" Letter came a few days later. Scholarship letter followed about a month later.
Georgetown acceptance received on a Friday (12/19) in a little cream colored invitation-sized envelope. Probably helps that the Dean of Admissions is a former teacher (mentioned in a hand-written note at the bottom of the acceptance letter).
WUSTL acceptance received on Monday (12/22) via email.
Emory acceptance came in a big, yellow envelope via postal mail (12/23).
Came home from the Christmas craze to find two envelopes from NYU in the box (12/26)! One contained an acceptance (large invitation sized, purple envelope), one contained another letter and some supplemental information. I am suprised!
Email from Virginia Admissions (1/23) asking me to give them a call. Did so and was accepted!
Phone message from Alabama (1/25) in regards to "exciting news about acceptance and scholarship". In with a full ride.
Large Priority Mail box on the stoop from Vanderbilt (1/29) with acceptance and a lot of other stuff.
Email from Northwestern (2/5) notifying me that a decision had been made on my application. Accepted!
Checked Berkeley status checker after all the hullaballoo on TLS (2/11). Rejected! Not surprised. The GPA from an engineering school and the F on my transcript surely had something to do with it...
On hold at Columbia sometime in late February. Not surprised in the least. Am debating whether to write a LOCI or not.
Woodruff Finalist (3/2)! If I get this, my cycle is over, yo.
Merit aid letter from UVA arrives (3/25). Suddenly things change. Crazy.
WOODRUFF!!!!!!!!!!
Will be withdrawing from everywhere else.
That's my cycle.

I am a fellow Tech grad. How about that game this weekend? I'm overseas, but thankfully got to watch it over the internet thanks to slingbox! It was awesome to see the Yellow Jackets play that well! Good luck with your cycle!

UGA hate? definitely Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 11:04 am
You're dead on with the UGA hate. I love Athens and free UGA law would have been a real consideration for me. But the offer they made was just not as good as I thought it would be. Oh well... it's probably cause we beat them in football this year.

Most definitely empowering! Talk about girl power :) Though in all fairness, Wise Owl did turn it down. Looking forward to great times ahead in the fall...
