Grats on your cycle - especially NYU! I am assuming your URM status is Cuban. If you don't mind my asking, what were your soft factors? What do you think sets you apart (I'm trying to figure out why I haven't heard back from NYU and Columbia).

I've been really active in student council and the ethnic groups on campus. I also worked a lot of hours on campus at two jobs which meant I had significant extracurricular involvement. My concentration in poli sci is also a bit unorthodox as is the particular field of public interest law I want to do. Hope it helps!
