This is my second time around, I applied late in the cycle last year and was rejected all around. After re-taking the LSAT I moved from a 145 to 148 and put together a much stronger application package, better LOR's, strong essay and more detailed information about extracurricular.

Brooklyn Law, not sure if they even read my application but I was rejected right off the bat, even though my scores are low I thought a commitment to working and living in Brooklyn and years of work experience would have some impact but alas they don't give @#$^. sm thin letter

Pace, last year Pace Law School was the only school that waitlisted me, so this year I got my application together super early, went to an interview and crossed my fingers only to be waitlisted again?! I know that they moved up in the rankings but seriously? sm stuffed envelope

NELS, A bit surprised about this one but I imagine with the recession and all they are holding out for the top applicants like so many other school. sm stuffed envelope

Widener, Acceptance via status checker and then large white envelope came in the mail. So good to receive a vote of confidence!!!

Rutgers, deferred for later review, this is my top choice and they are way out of my reach so I am just flattered not to be rejected and keeping my fingers crossed. So good to see a law school not totally focused on rankings and LSAT scores. Thanks Rutgers! via email

Accepted at NYLS! This was a surprise, was rejected last year just goes to show you just gotta keep trying :-). small envelope but I could feel that there were a couple sheets of paper inside.

How are you? I also have an interview with pace next week and have similar numbers plus o tonne of environmental activism with the waterkeeper alliance which originated at Pace with Robert Kennedy. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the interview? thanks
