6.25 No go at Quinn. They said they have a full wait list. Also did not get into this round of WL at MSU.

6/15 Got a letter from FIU letting me know that they are moving my application from hold to the wait list. They said it might be the end of summer before they had a decision. I'm going to take myself off the wait list. I am also getting off the waitlist at Stetson. Not the best time to be near the gulf coast. MSU said they would know by June 25th. Just a couple more days, and if nothing else, I'm going to FCSL.

5/10 Called MSU today because I got info that they would be reviewing the wait list starting May 1st and contacting people by May 10th. Well the Dean of Admissions is on vacation for another week so that isn't going to happen. I was told that they are planning on notifying people by the end of May and that this will probably be the last review of the wait list.

4/29 got an email from Stetson saying I was off the Wait List since I did not send them notification that I wanted to stay on. I had sent the form in and contacted them several times. When I called they said that it must have been a clerical error and they'd put me back on.

4/26 Stetson sent some info about their wait list and said that at the earliest to hear back would be June. Sounds like most people do not hear back until last minute in August.

4/3 waitlisted at Quinnipiac - they said most people hear back about the waitlist after 6/15

3/29 Called Quinnipiac again today (about my 4th time checking on my application status) and they said that they had a problem with their printers last week and some of the decisions are being sent out this week. Wrote an email asking if they could email me back the results since some of the schools need to know by 4/5.

3/24 So FIU mailed my letter of decision to my parents house...didn't need to chase after the mailman after all. They said they put a 'hold' on my application. I know it's better than a rejection, but I'm still bummed not to have the final word. I'm ready for this to be over but again, am thankful that I'm still being considered by some of the schools.

3/23/10 so I heard back from Nova and am happy to have gotten accepted. FIU said that they sent out the decision last week so hopefully it will be in the mail today. Quinn also said that they had a decision but I don't know when that was posted.
I called Nova and they said if there was any $ I'll be informed in a week or two by snail mail, BUT they want the first seat deposit 4/5.
Hawai'i had been my number one choice, but I understand it's really competitive. That was my long shot school!
Now, Stetson is my top pick. I'm WL and called the school to see when people usually start to hear back...they didn't really know but said they it should be soon. I was WL back in the day at U of M and got in so I hope that fate will help me out again!
