The situation with American is something of a special case. I applied for the dual-degree JD/MA in International Affairs program and was accepted by SIS and waitlisted by WCL. I accepted the offer by SIS in part to give WCL more time to decide, though if it doesn't work out I will still attend American since the SIS offer stands on its own. I'd likely pursue a PhD afterwards if I end up not going to law school.

It was included with the initial snail-mail letter they sent but was not in the e-mail. Doesn't really matter though as I very likely will not be attending Dayton.

Undecided at this point

I'm still not sure where I will go, but I am leaning towards Hofstra given the choices I have right now. I have an old friend at Dayton and applied on her recommendation, but since I want to focus on international law it really isn't a good choice, even with the money. I also am not really giving any more thought to MSU because I don't want to wind up working in East Lansing after I finish. When I applied there in 2003 they offered a half-ride scholarship, but this time offered nothing so I really have no reason to go there anyway.

Got a letter in the mail yesterday offering 25% per year in merit aid.

I applied to the joint MA/JD program at American and was accepted to the MA part. I am still on WCL's waitlist, but I decided to attend AU regardless (i.e. I will do the MA part even if I dont make it off the WCL waitlist). If I don't make it into the law school I'll apply to their grad school for a PhD program after finishing the MA.

Forgot to metion that I did send a letter to them along with my reply form. I sent it as a PDF attached to an email to Meghan O'Connor since posting it from Japan would have taken 10 days.
