More info on my application cycle:

10/26/07 Santa Clara sends me an email saying that they received my application and will order my LSDAS report

11/9/07 UH requested my LSDAS report. I meet their minimum LORs, but one more letter is still in the mail. I guess It'll take me a while to go complete since an updated report will need to be sent..

11/12/07 Complete at Santa Clara via email

11/19/07 Sent UH's supplementary residency forms

11/20/07 Sent in USD application via LSAC.. I applied full time, but I know that I would just be suuuuper lucky to get accepted part time. Oh well doesn't hurt to try.

11/20/07 UH sent me a small postcard saying my file is complete. The postcard was dated 11/20, but I didn't receive it until 11/24

12/5/07 Updated reports were sent to all the schools I applied to since my last LOR finally arrived!

12/6/07 Complete at USD via email :) I thought they didn't tell their applicants whether they were complete or not

12/15/07 Deferred at Santa Clara in a small white envelope and letter dated 12/13

1/03/08 Seattle sent an email saying that I went complete on 12/10. The status checker didn't say I was complete until today.

1/10/08 Today I received a postcard saying that I am complete at Seattle as of 12/10

2/19/08 Seattle status checker said "Decision Mailed" and said this update took place on 2/15

2/24/08 Received acceptance packet from Seattle U in a large white envelope. Letter dated 2/19, postmarked 2/22.

3/8/08 Received a large, manila envelope (postmarked 3/7) from UH. accepted. HUGE relief! If all goes right, I will attend UH.

I heard the competition is tough there, but job prospects aren't too bad since it's still considered a top school. the area it is in is also a little sketchy, but I know the city pretty well so I'm not scared of that. Do you want to go into a certain type of law?

Born and raised in Hawaii. I asked about dancing because I've done ballet for forever. :) Hawaii is up there for me... the situation is a little more complicated because my fiance' is applying to medical schools and we're both trying to get into the same place.
