11/9/09 - Decision rendered at Michigan. Thanks to the tips from TLS, I could log into the Admitted Students website. This, and the beautiful sunshine, makes for a perfect day!
12/07/09 - In at NYU via a big, thin purple envelop! I'm so amazingly happy and grateful. And even more amazing, finally complete at Stanford after TWO months - and after they lost 2 hard copies of my Dean's Certificate and 2 fax copies!
12/10/09 - In at Cornell, and considered for the Dean's Scholarship!
12/14/09 - a super nice congratulation voicemail from UPenn
12/21/09 - invitation for the Darrow (up to full tuition plus stipend) at UMich from Dean Zearfoss
1/11/10 - moved to Berkeley faculty review, which starts on 1/29. A decision will be reached on 2/19. Gulp! Essay submitted for the Darrow.
1/13/10 - congratulations call from BU :-)
1/15/10 - held for further review at Harvard. AND... Full Darrow at UMich WOW!!!
1/27/10 - in at Columbia, feeling amazing.
1/28/10 - waitlisted at UVA. Planning to withdraw.
2/16/10 - $65K scholarship from Duke, sadly not even close. Will be withdrawing to free up the money for someone else (I hope).
2/18/10 - oh no, the end of the non-rejection streak! Ah well, so long, Berkeley.
2/25/10 - in at Northwestern, out at Stanford. I guess I'm destined to stay in the Northeast or the Midwest :-) Withdraw from Duke, BU, Georgetown and Cornell.
3/11/10 - invited to interview for NYU's Jacobson Law & Business Scholarship on April 9! Great news on my birthday!
4/19/10 - full tuition scholarship at NYU (half tuition for 3rd year if I do biglaw summer). Life is good.
4/23/10 - deposited submitted to NYU. Columbia financial aid came too little, too late. And... that is the end of the cycle!
4/29/10 - Waitlist offer from HLS. Hmm, patience is a virtue.

Any news regarding the JR1 as yet? I see many LSN profiles with a 174 LSAT who seem to have gotten one, hoping its our turn soon! Maybe they're just delaying the procession of international applications? (that's what I'm telling myself)

Yeah well I dont even have a GPA, as I completed my studies abroad. Just some silly evaluation which is vague to say the least. Btw noticed a stupid typo in my post above....that's "processing", not "procession".....I hope my appications are sans such mistakes!! :) Good luck!

Yeah I dont believe much in an intl boost either, and TLS/LSN provide proof for that fact. The credential evaluation agency used by LSDAS didnt give me a GPA, so I used an alternate agency which gave me a GPA of 3.81. Attached this with all my apps, so hopefully the adcomms use it. Here's hoping for a pre-thanksgiving JR1 for both of us! :)

Yeah me too :(. I'm obsessively checking my mail every-day but hope seems to be dwindling away. Anyway based on LSN data for last year, if we don't get an invite by around the 25th, its an almost certain WL/Reject. But then again, we still have 8-9 days to go, so let's hope for the best!:) Good luck!!

I know how you feel.. why did I have to take neuroscience when I'm so bad at it?? Anyway, I too just want a JR1 for Christmas and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too :) I'm sure they just haven't gotten to us lower GPA's yet...but they will! Besides it sounds like you have some pretty cool softs :) I never founded a non-profit...

Hey I have a question about your UVA application. I have similar numbers and was wondering if you did a "why UVa" essay etc? I am really surprised that they wait-listed you.
