Sorry to hear about the WL, but I bet you eventually get in. They accept a great deal of students that don't accept. Hell, I'll be withdrawing my acceptence, maybe they'll give it to you!! I'm most likely going to Nova, unless I get an acceptence from UM or FIU, which I highly doubt. Will def stay in touch.

Yes I go to FSU! I see you're a Crim major also, I bet we've had some classes together haha! I definitely wouldn't mind getting out of Tallahassee either, but I would also love to be accepted and have the option (which is looking slim lol). Where are you hoping to go?

Yeah I agree with you. Who wants a decision as late as August? I decided to remain waitlisted until I commit to a school , which I hope will happen around April. Then, I'll withdraw from everywhere else.

Are you serious they said it would take long? That is insane....Thank you for the info b/c I will not hold my breathe for them now! We have a lot of the same schools in common....what is your first choice?

Just out of curiosity, did St. Thomas offer you outright acceptance or summer conditional acceptance? I am wondering what their LSAT cut off is for the summer conditional. That is what I was offered and I scored a 145.

I am so annoyed with Nova. I went complete early early November and it still says "Committee Review". I actually did my Master's there and I thought that would give me a boost, but who knows! Nova is really my last choice just b/c I am in NC now, but have lived in Miami all my life and I really want to go to school outside of FL.

The reason I applied to UNC is b/c someone VERY VERY close to me is a Vice Chancellor there so I have a little push on my side. Who knows....still keeping my fingers crossed. According to the LSAC guide, they took people with our LSAT scores last year. So you never know. I havent heard too much about Charlotte. In my opinion, I think it has a bright future considering its location. I am anxiously waiting a decision from them!

I think FAMU seems like a great option, especially with its new campus. I didn't know that they were up for full accreditation this summer? Where did you hear this, if you don't mind me asking?

I dont know yet, I still have more schools left to hear from. But if I dont here from them within a couple of weeks, I'll be making a decision. As of now, I consider all of my offers on equal footing until I look at all of them again to make my decision. Thanks so much by the way for the congrats!

Thanks for the feedback, really helpful. It would be nice if they can get full accreditation - this is the biggest barrier for me. Since I'm applying for USMC JAG, they require that I attend a fully accredited school, not just provisional. That's why I'm considering Thomas Jefferson, plus its closer to home. Hey I do not know what to think about the school because I have not had the chance to visit it yet. I heard negative and positive things about the school so I do not know. What do you think? I think I am leaning more to going to NCCU.

Well, I am only waiting to hear from FIU at this point. If I am accepted I will be attending, and if not I will be attending Nova. I am really cutting it close on the seat deposit deadline at Nova, but thankfully they accept payment by phone. I see you are attending Nova, congrats on making your decision! Must be a great feeling knowing this process is all over. Maybe I will be seeing you there in August! :)

Well I am visiting Charlotte this Friday so hopefully that helps in getting me off the waitlist and I am still waiting on UNC. Word on the street is they will be sending out more acceptances in a week or 2. If not, I am okay with starting my career in NC b/c I just moved here a few weeks ago and i really like it here! I went to Nova for Grad school and loved it so I am sure you will enjoy Nova also! =)
