Touro...

Hey! When did you apply? I'm curious because I'm trying to figure out what sort of timeline I should be expecting from them. There seems to be a dearth of information out there regarding them. It looks like we have 3 schools in common. Congrats on your first acceptance! :)

Thank you! it feels awesome to get an acceptance. Congrats on yours as well! I applied to Touro on 10/3 and got the acceptance in the first week on december, so you're looking at roughly 2 months wait. good luck on this cycle!

Well it looks like they must've had a light week, because I was accepted via status checker yesterday. Maybe I'll see you there! The reality is that it isn't my first choice school, but if they make the price tag small enough for me it might be hard to turn down. How did you get your scholly info? In the original mailing? Have you seen their campus? I think I'm going to check it out in the next few weeks. I see CUNY's your first choice, too. It looks like they've started to make moves on reviewing applications. My status checker still says "Your application is ready for review" though. *fingers crossed*

the scholly info was part of the acceptance package. from what i've heard, the campus is quite beautiful, but i'm not looking forward to the commute...it'll be about 2 hrs from school to home... but oh well!!! CUNY is my first choice so i'm keeping my fingers crossed as well. in terms of visiting touro, i'll wait until i hear from CUNY :)

Received rejection letter from pace today. Very short and curt (I guess they have no need for embellishment). Can't say I'm too upset because their P/T division is in the daytime and I work full time. Still waiting for CUNY, but regardless Im going to law school in the fall.

Found out today NYLS offered me an opportunity to participate in their AAMPLE program. Although NYLS is more expensive than Touro, it's location is superb, allowing me to get home after classes at a decent time. Touro means LIRR late at night and getting home after midnight. Im debating if I should do the AAMPLE program .

You know anyone that had success in NYLS' AAMPLE?
