it's entirely possible. I hope that doesn't make people mad. But then, he is also really charming and has good recs & soft factors.
He was accepted PT day, and he received it via mail, about two weeks ago? (I'm his wife, also admitted, letter about four weeks ago, FT). We both applied pretty late, it was a surprisingly fast turn around.
