Additional info & updates

3/16/2009: Got rejected at Stetson. Would have liked to go there. I went to High School in Florida. Extra sting from the fact that they didn't let me in their part-time program either.

3/17/2009: Now that the rejections are starting to pile up, I wonder if it's way too late to apply anywhere else? Excluding Florida Coastal. Will try to hope for good news when the mail man comes.

3/21/2009: Got rejected at FSU and ASU. No real surprise there.

3/23/2009: Rejected at Santa Clara

3/25/2009: No word from any schools. Is it safe to assume that all acceptances have gone out, excluding a couple waitlisters later?? I'm starting to think I should start prepping for the summer LSAT:(

3/26/2009: Rejected at Denver, Waitlisted at DePaul

3/28/2009: Waiting on a few more schools...I'm expecting rejections this late in the game but who knows. I wonder if I should call the remaining schools and ask them whats up. The girl I called the other day was pissed I even called and said to just wait. Although, I must say, I would probably be a prick to people harassing me if I was working Part-time in the admissions office:?

3/30/2009: Rejected at University of Miami today. Expected it, but was annoyed and amused at the same time by the rejection letter. Instead of saying the usual "we cannot offer you...etc.." it says, "the Committee did not take favorable action on your application" and later says sorry we could not "take favorable action." Never once actually saying that my application has been denied. I thought that was kind of an awkward way to word it. Then closing the letter with, "we hope that you will be able to make satisfactory arrangements to undertake law study." Is that what it's called? Law Study? Maybe it's me being a sore loser on this one, but it seems to me like the Assistant Dean hasn't mastered the English Language yet, let alone "law study." If UM's poor academic ranking reflects any truth, the quality of writing in their rejection letters might be an easy place to start. But I'd still go there if they offered me seat though;)

4/2/2009: Status went to "Decision Letter Pending" on Wake Forest. HHmm...either a ding or acceptance. Time to pray...

4/2/2009: Well, got the rejection letter from Wake Forest this afternoon.
