Additional info & updates

-Accepted at Gonzaga with $6500 renewable scholarship dated 20 December 2005. Snail Mail in large envelope

-Accepted University of louisville dated 21 December
2005. Snail Mail in normal sized stationary envelope.

-Accepted at West Virginia on 05 January 2006 via internet status check

I'm beginning to think I may have been a bit conservative with my approach durring this application cycle.

Back to Reality:

- Rejected by Seattle on 06 Feb 06 via snail mail in an envelope so thin and flimsy that there was absolutely no dooubt regarding the contents; the streak is over.

Another one in the bank:

- Accepted at University of Montana via snail mail in large 8 1/2 x 11 or so envelope.

Another one bites the dust:

- Rejected at University of New Mexico via snail mail in flimsy white envelope with perhaps the shortest, no-bullshit response ever.

Good Luck with your apps!!

safeties
Saturday, September 17 2005 at 08:00 PM

yeah, I know. I am trying to decide which one's I want as I have alot of safeties on my list. Trying to whittle them down, hehe

Just looked at your schools
Saturday, September 17 2005 at 08:00 PM

I am applying to many of the same so we may end up at the same school!! ;-)

More safeties
Saturday, September 17 2005 at 08:00 PM

I have added some more safeties to my list today. I was thinking of adding Seattle University as well, is it considered a good school?

haha. yes. i do remember that ridiculous application. i told em the reason i didn't do well my first 2 years was because i had too much newfound freedom or some crap like that. its true though. i guess. blame something else when you're down, that's what i always say. riiiight. well if i don't get in at vermont i don't have to say it was necessarily because of my bs personal statement; i can say it was because of my shitty lsat score. eh? YOU on the other hand, rule. and you should have no problem getting accepted to all the schools we are competing over *sneer* vermont no exception. good luck bro :)

The Univ. of Idaho acknowledges your status by way of U.S. Postal mail (postcard).

800 Eh?
Friday, November 04 2005 at 07:00 PM

So you were an 800 runner too? I have to admit the application process - and the waiting - feels more like cross country. I been feeling like vomiting since early Fall. When will it end? Anyway, best wishes to you - good luck in Law School!

I went complete back in November. I would say it took at least a month to hear from them

Deans List?

Congrats on the acceptances, but I have a question. How did you make deans list 6 semesters out of 8 but only have a 2.95 GPA?

best of luck
Friday, September 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

I just wanted to say good luck - we have similar numbers (and the same weird split between degree-granting GPA and LSDAS GPA), so I've been watching your acceptances roll in with interest. We have a few schools in common, so perhaps I'll see you in the fall! :)

Congrats!

Congrats on all of your acceptances and scholarships! Where is your first choice? Perhaps I will see you at Vermont in August. I'm still stuck on deciding between Pace and Vermont...

Wow!
Friday, September 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

All of those acceptances look nice! Congrats - it looks like you'll have a lot of options in the fall!

I didn't receive any scholarship information either, but I believe if we were going to get something it would have been with our acceptance letter. The tuition is quite daunting and the fact that they have no housing is also a turnoff. I love the school though and I hear nothing but good things about it. I have spoken with alumni who couldn't praise the school enough. I'm about 99% sure I'll be at Pace next year, but it is so hard to turn down Vermont!

have you heard anything at all from um? it seems awfully silent in those neck of the woods.

New Mexico
Friday, September 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

My mom encouraged me to apply there - now I'm glad I didn't waste my money. Congrats on all of your acceptances! Who needs SU and UNM when you have so many other choices? :)

On your acceptances. We seem to have very similar index numbers and a few apps in common. Wondering what you are thinking about Louisville or Gonzaga 'cause those are two of my top choices right now.

Montana

What are your thoughts on Montana? I think I might go despite getting into Syracuse and Gonzaga.

Willamette
Friday, September 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

I read on someone else's profile that you are leaning towards Willamette. I sent my deposit in last week, so maybe I'll see you there! Have you visited Salem yet? Best of luck on your remaining applications!

Where to?
Friday, September 16 2005 at 08:00 PM

It's good to see you are winning this application battle! At this point, with no word still from Oregon, Wyoming and Pacific, where are you thinking of going?

louisville

kindly withdrawl from louisville if your not planning on attending.
