Crap, at least I could have hope when I was waiting no I'm just freaking out that I'm in the first group of rejects :(. One of my dream schools-love the area and everything I have read and heard.

Received an email from UIUC verifying that my app is on hold and will be given a second closer look before getting accepted, wait listed, or denied--here's hoping for the best.

UK offered $11,000 , basically it is fellowship that will pay for the difference between resident and non-resident tuition--very nice!

Well here it stands: 1 acceptance, 5 wait lists, 18 rejections. We're making preparations for the move to KY, but will still hold on to a few of the top wait lists in hope.

Okay, a little update. I was accepted to ASU with $10,000 for the first year, really great news. Then last week I was called by U of Arizona and offered $15,000/year for 3 years. I emailed to withdraw from ASU and they increased the scholarship to cover all tuition and fees for the first year. We have decided to attend UA and withdraw from ASU--hard decision given ASUs focus on genetics and the law.

i think that means you got deferred. mine just changed to decision letter sent today. we have similar numbers. i guess my result will be an indicator of your chances when they review your app again. in any case, good luck at uiuc and the rest of your cycle!

Hey just wanted to say congratulations on getting off the waitlist at ASU. I am still waiting it out but I hope to hear something positive very soon. It is by far my top school. Best of luck to you and perhaps we will be both be going to ASU!
