Additional info & updates

10/5/09 All of my applications have been sent off, and now I'm waiting for my lsat score and my letters of recommendation. Hopefully all will go smoothly! I am very excited about all of the schools that I have applied to.

1/15/10 Just got into Seattle U. via status checker!

1/19/10 Received a nice scholarship in the mail from SEATTLE in a very snazzy portfolio. They even sent me a sticker for my car! (Half sarcasm... it's actually pretty cool).

1/27/10 I received a small letter in the mail today from Colorado announcing that I am on the waitlist! I would absolutely love to go to school in Boulder, so let the begging commence...

2/1/10 I got my acceptance from the University of Oregon today, along with a nice scholarship. My status checker for Gonzaga also changed to 'Decision Rendered'.

2/4/10 I got acceptance letters in the mail today from Gonzaga and the University of New Mexico. Gonzaga also offered a large scholarship, although not large enough to get me to Spokane...

2/8/10 Accepted today at Lewis and Clark. WOOT WOOT!

2/12/10 HOLY CRAP!!! I was just accepted at the University of Washington. I never even considered it a possibility after my LSAT... What an absolute godsend!

3/3/10 Waitlisted at Arizona via Status Checker... Again I must say thank god for UW!!!

4/7/10 Still haven't heard from ASU? It feels like a loose end...

Being the cautious person that I am, I would rather not say until I hear from everyone.

Is your Oregon scholarship per year, or over 3 years? And what are you the requirements for renewing it, if you dont mind me asking?

woo hoo!

Congrats on UW! You're giving me a little bit of hope!

Congrats on everything! We have a lot of similar choices in schools. Maybe I'll see you somewhere. My dad is UNM alum and said if I wanted to go into Native American Law that they were the school to be at. When I was a kid he got a few jobs with the local tribes in Washington State through newsletters from UNM. I have to say I had a lot of great experiences growing up on and around the reservations, although lawyers looking to make high-rise money should stay away. No scholarship with out of state tuition makes it a touch choice.

"tough" would be the proper spelling, my apologies

Oh my goodness congrats on UW! I'm hoping to squeeze in there with similar stats. Do you think your UG experience there helped you get in?

Congrats on UW!

Do you think your honors college graduation and departmental distinction was a big help? I would looove for the adcomm to focus on that. Congrats!
