- 12/04/07 in at GULC by small white envelope! Completely unexpected since I never received status checker info

- 01/10/08 email from Michigan basically deferring me

- 01/24/07 in at BU by phone call

- 01/31/08 Michigan status checker goes to decision. Definitely wasn't expecting a decision so soon after the deferral e-mail. Now I play the waiting game for a few more days...

- 02/01/08 I can access the Michigan Admitted Students website! Hard to believe, after 3 months of waiting, that I'm in my top choice!

- 02/02/08 The beautiful blue package arrived

-02/19/08 Rejection letter from Chicago. Not surprising and I wouldn't have gone there over Michigan anyway. The letter is dated Feb 14th...the Chicago adcoms have a funny way of celebrating Valentine's Day

-03/14/08 Waitlisted at Duke and withdrew my application since I wouldn't choose it over Michigan

-04/22/08 Haven't updated this in a while. I was priority waitlisted at UVA a few weeks ago but have withdrawn. I only would have taken UVA over Michigan with $$.

- As a side note: I NEVER heard back from UCLA. The only way I even knew I had gone complete was because I contacted the school and asked. It seems as though they must have lost my application.

Thank you! The letter was postmarked Dec 3rd and I never got status checker information so I don't know if it changed or not. I didn't think I'd hear anything from anywhere till at least late Jan.
