ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

3/17: Still in committee review at Nova. Capital Status Checker says decision rendered... Now I have to sit around and wait for a letter. The waiting game is the worst!
3/29: All applications have been submitted as of 3/19. I really regret applying so late in this cycle.
4/1: Was hoping for some decisions to finally come back today. Got my wish but not in the best way. Decision Deferred at Akron. So now more waiting.
4/17: Got my deposit deadline deferred till the end of the month at Ave Maria. Wasn't expecting to get into Villanova, but the first rejection isn't fun. Committee Review at Ole Miss.

6/17: I was all set to be at Ave Maria, especially after my scholarship was increased. I was looking forward to a fresh start in sunny South Florida. My application to U of Akron was initially deferred, and I got an email last week saying that I had been accepted. My plans were still for Ave Maria, because it would have been quite inexpensive and the scholarship stipulations didn't seem too hard to keep. But shortly after getting the acceptance email from Akron I got another email offering me the scholarship. It was too much to pass up and I'm excited to start at Akron. It will be nice to be at my hometown school. The scholarship at Akron will be extremely hard to keep, but I am grateful to have it at least for one year.

Best of luck to everyone still in this cycle and to next year's applicants! Don't be afraid to try and bargain with schools for extra scholarships. My biggest regret was not having more time to devote to studying for the LSAT, I really neglected my study book and my score reflected that. Good luck to everyone!

thanks man, applying late didn't hurt me too much, perhaps at Iowa, but oh well...I think you'll do good in your cycle as well. goodluck!! :)

Yes, mine said committee review and I got a decision is about a week or less. However, I didn't get in, rather got offered their AAMPLE program for the summer.

Hey rjcwalshu11, I'm in the same boat at Nova. My status changed from "in committee review" to "with committee" this past monday, the wait is killing me. I'm hoping that "with committee" doesn't entail a similar decision to iliftheavyweights as I've already been accepted elsewhere and would go there if only accepted into AAMPLE. Anyways wanted to wish you good luck on your applications and to let you know that there are still Nova waiters like you. Good luck, I hope to see you at Nova this fall..

Thanks bud. Yeah, I applied there extremely late so I can't imagine how long until I hear anything. It seems like all the schools I actually care to hear from are the one's drawing out the decision process. Anyway, good luck to you as well sir.
