Additional info & updates

7/20 - Received an email from Willamette stating my scholarship was being increased. I'm now very conflicted about where I'm going to go. They told me they don't get many students from the south, and that they liked my political experience. Everyone knows law schools value diversity, but I don't know if people understand that geography is definitely a big part of that.

4/14 - Never expected any scholarships. It's very nice to have options. And like I said - Highlight your strengths!

4/2 - In at Creighton. Did not expect to have such success. My personal statement really hit on my strengths, not my GPA issues. I would encourage everyone with similar numbers to really sell yourself and avoid focusing on your weaknesses.

4/1 - So happy to hear that I was accepted at UALR! I got the email at 11:45 pm (weird), and I don't really see a scenario in which I would decide not to attend. That in-state tuition is almost too good to be true!

3/28 - Got my first acceptance via email today! It's a great feeling, but I'm also anxious to see if I'll get any sort of scholarship. You receive word on that with the package they send.

3/28 - Withdrew from Richmond today, my biggest reach. They require Dean Certifications from each undergrad institution and I simply don't have enough time to get them in.
