Additional info & updates

1/31 - Still waiting on Hofstra packet to come in.
Just found out I got into NYLS w/ scholarship through the status checker. Curious to see how much they give me but obviously just another safe school out the way.

2/6
Waitlisted by BLS. :(

2/10
Received an E-mail from Hofstra about scholarship. 15K/year. Still one of my last choices, but wow that's tempting!

2/11
Received letter from NYLS about getting a 10K/yr scholarship.

2/19
Received an e-mail from Rutger's telling me I'm on a "defer" status. It's not a yes, nor a wait list... as far as I understand, they might as well have not sent an update is what they're really trying to say.

2/21
Rejected from Seton Hall via status checker. Pretty surprising that a school like Cardozo waitlisted me, yet Seton Hall, whose numbers I hit, rejected me.
Not upset though. Didn't want to attend regardless.

3/5
Accepted at St. John's! Pretty happy with this actually. Happy with it being my safety school while I wait for BLS and Cardozo to reply back! Found out through status checker today. They said I should be getting an e-mail and an acceptance packet, but no e-mail yet.

3/24-
Got an e-mail saying Hofstra boosted my scholarship to 30K/year. That actually makes them a serious competitor against St John's unless they offer some money. Planning on sending an e-mail this week.

7/2-Final Update:
Accepted at BLS a few weeks ago off the wait list. & No longer interested in Cardozo. Will definitely be attending.

For any questions definitely feel free to message/comment. :)

Received an acceptance to Hofstra Law yesterday through e-mail. Would obviously like to not attend, but at least I have a [really] safe school down. Was just waitlisted at Cardozo. Pretty upsetting, but at least there's still hope!

Yea it's definitely upsetting. But at the same time, looking at the statistic they included (23% of last year's students were wait listed and they're expecting similar results this year) makes it feel just a bit better! Good luck!
