Additional info & updates

I applied to a lot of schools- too many. However, it did provide me with many experiences, both positive and negative, in connection with admissions departments.

GW was amazing. They really went out of their way and gave me the impression they wanted me there. It was an extremely tough decision to withdraw.

Brooklyn and Cardozo also "recruited" me. It is nice to see some schools caring about your decision and not treating you like a 4 page application paper.

UCLA was awful. I called them to confirm receipt of my application. They could not verify if they received it and recommended I send them an email. It took them almost 2 months to respond to my email and confirm. RIDICULOUS.

Fordham was the first school to accept me. However, they did not care about me after I was admitted. They did not return my phone calls or repond to emails. I got the impression that they could not care less about me enrolling in their school. Not too sound arrogant, but they offered me a scholarship, so clearly I was one of their top students. One would think they would make a small effort. I should note that I know many Fordham students- current and alumni. They all loved the school, students and professors, so this seems isolated to their admissions office. Obviously, you should make a decision about law school based on other criteria.

Cardozo offered me a full scholarship and a $5000 yearly stipend. GW offered me a full Presidential Merit Scholarship. Brooklyn offered a full scholarship. Fordham offered $10000 per year.

Penn sounds awesome and I am thrilled to be going there!
