Additional info & updates

3-22-06 Finally got confirmation that all of my law school reports have been sent out! Plus, I'm now complete at both American and Georgetown :)

3-28-06 I'm waitlisted at American! I'm pretty jazzed about that since its not a rejection, and I'm willing to wait to see if I get in. Kudos to AU for their quick turnaround.

4-03-06 Waitlisted at WashU! I'm 2 for 2 so far and beginning to wonder why its taking so long for Gtown and GWU to send their rejection notices...dare I begin to hope?

4-06-06 I got into the MA portion of the JD/MA degree in International Affairs at AU!!! Very excited about this but I don't think I can go if I don't get pulled off the waitlist. Good thing I'm going to visit next week :)

4-07-06 Correction - I'm officially accepted to the MA program through AU's School of International Service, which I can enroll in whether the law school accepts me or not! Will be visiting next week to find out more info and hopefully convince them to pull me off the waitlist.

4-16-06 Happy Easter! I just got back from D.C. where I swung by GWU's admissions office - looks like I'll be getting a rejection letter soon. haha. But on the bright side of things, I absolutely loved American. I took the law school tour, talked to an admission director for the grad school, walked all over campus with a sophmore SIS student who answered all my questions, and got to talk with a current MA student who had the same thing happen to him (accepted for the MA, waitlisted for the JD). Turns out he never got in off the waitlist but loves the SIS. That was interesting to note, especially since right now I'm planning on going ahead and signing up for the MA, and then waiting to see if I get in off the waitlist. Either way, I'm gonna be livin it up in DC!!!

4-18-06 Finally got my rejection from GW - I so called that one! I am kinda sad to break my waitlist streak though...up until now I've had nothing but encouraging news. Oh well, no worries cuz I'm set on AU!

5-2-06 Checked my online status at Gtown the other day - should be getting my rejection letter soon! But it doesn't really matter since I've sent off my deposit to AU's SIS. Here's hoping I get in off the waitlist!

5-4-06 Yup

6-3-06 Hey my LSDAS GPA went up .01 with the addition of my spring grades! Not like it matters haha
