Additional info & updates

10/2--All applications submitted!

10/11--Accepted at Duke Priority track!

10/19--JR1 email!!!!!!! Sooooo nervous and excited!

10/22--JR1....i think it went alright (not spectacular, but not terrible either)

10/26--Accepted at Gerogetown!

10/28--Accepted at UT-Austin!

11/6--84K Scholarship offer from UT-Austin!

11/23--ACCEPTED AT HARVARD LAW!!!!!!

12/09--Interesting to see that Michigan, UVA, UCLA, BU, and Notre Dame all have been accepting applicants for quite a while now, but I haven't heard a peep from them (and for Michigan I even wrote a Why Michigan essay) Given my relatively strong numbers (GPA above all 75ths and LSAT at or above all 75ths) and my relatively strong essays/application (I think--though it's difficult to say because I haven't seen other people's--that theyre very good. And in light of the fact that I was accepted at Harvard so early [in the first batch of acceptances, in fact] with numbers that aren't particularly strong by Harvard's standards, my essays/apps probably were pretty darn good), I would think that I would have received an acceptance by now. I'm kind of inclined to believe that they are yield-protecting me, but that's a somewhat dubious hypothesis given the many acceptances that have gone out to applicants with higher numbers than me. Oh well, I guess I just have to wait and see.

Don'get me wrong, I am beyond extraordinarily delighted by how well my cycle has gone so far, but I'd still like to leave my options open. A Stanford or Yale acceptance would make this literally a dream cycle for me. Don't really know which way I'd go if given a choice between H/Y, H/S, or H/Y/S (like this is actually going to happen lol), but keeping my fingers crossed.

Congrats on securing a spot at HLS so early in the cycle, numbers twin! We're both seniors too, and I would love to be able to relax for the rest of senior year! I'm hoping to hear back from HLS before winter break. Good job!

Hey sf, congrats on your stellar cycle! Other than your great numbers, just wondering what you thought made you stand out for HLS? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Best of luck with Y and S :)

I'm impressed at all of these acceptances. I was wondering if you could chat with me on some essay tips. I have the same numbers, similar school, similar extracurriculars and all. Let me know if you wouldn't mind giving me a few pointers.
