GULC Deferral - was expecting a rejection but this is better!
Fordham 2nd Eval - Sent in a form that said I was still interested in the school (sounds like YP to me...) and I'm writing a letter of continuing interest, having a Fordham alum write me a character reference, and sending in my 1st sem grades when I receive them. Hopefully this helps.

BC Deferral. Kind of surprised, I'd hoped to get in. Then again they rejected people with higher index and accepted with lower so I guess they're just weird?

NOT REJECTED AT PENN. Amazing. I don't know why they have deferred me, but its a good thing. Time to write that why penn essay... and send in my fall semester grades.

They sent me a letter saying my filed was "on hold" so I assume that is the same as a deferral. I really like Vandy, I visited in the fall, I hope things work out there

You're still waiting to hear, but good luck!!! It is a great school and, at this point, one of my top choices (for those that I've been admitted to). I rec'd my acceptance in a standard white envelope, which was gut-wrenching. Small envelopes make me nervous.....

I'm definitely planning on visiting either the beginning or end of august. I'm pretty surprised that you withdrew from penn waitlist and chose vandy over GW - did you do that purely on rankings? Have you ever lived in the south?
