Wish me luck!
I am a busy bee....#'s aren't impressive but my interest in law is!
I just don't understand why Admission Offices focus so much on the numbers! It is like judging someone based on the color of their skin, and not the content of their character....ETC, ETC
Scholarship amount is based on 4 years of the PT program. So that's $2250 every Academic year.
Barry University - Review In Process
Accepted to Appalachian School of Law
Waitlisted to Indy U. Please CROSS your fingers for me!
Contacted Nashville School of law, and was told that I've been admitted.
Indy app in review for the 4th time.
Widener invited me to their TAP program which will be held at the Harrisburg campus. The cost is around $2,000 ....not sure if it is worth it.
Rejected to NCCU. Really?
Indiana University app 'In Review' for the third time! I do not think this means anything at all. I am sure by sometime next week....I will probably get a letter in the mail that says....hmmmm you know.
4-22-12 I sent my application via snail mail to Nashville School of Law, it is not accredited by the ABA (I will ONLY be able to practice in TN) but I have heard nothing but semi-positive news about it. The cost is phenomenal and with today's current economy, I honestly think it behooves me to at least put this school as one of my top choices.
If I am granted admission, I will def be attending.
4-19-12 Just received my rejection letter from Valpo via snail mail. I knew I wasn't going to get in. & I AM AN IDIOT to think I will get in to Indy U, or even Southern for that matter.
It has always been a dream/goal of mine to go to law school but because of 'numbers' I am subjected to not reaching this goal. BOO!
4-16-12 Visited Indy U...very nice law school. My app is still 'In Review.'
As for Barry U, my app is now on hold....after being Waitlisted...don't really know what that means.
Checked Valpo Status: A Decision Letter was mailed out today....I know it EQUALS DENIED!!!
4-07-12 Going to purchase my plane ticket to Indiana to visit their campus.
4-02-12 I guess there still is a slight glimmer of hope left. Waitlisted to Barry University's PT Program
3-27-12 Checked Indiana U's app status checker...."In Review." Cross your fingers for me!!!
3-26-12 I will NOT be making a seat deposit for Florida Coastal's AAMPLE program. Even though they lowered the cost to $500...I don't think the stress and rep of the school is worth it
& I plan on visiting Indiana U..
FYI: The schools listed that have 'SP' next to it (except for Indiana University) have invited me to attend their Summer Conditional Programs....
3-20-12 Denied to U of WI...ovi!
Also denied at Appalachian but asked to participate in their summer program :-/.
I really hope Indy comes through for me...otherwise I guess I will take the June LSAT w/ hopes of entering some school this Fall.
3- 14- 12 Denied to FAMU
3-9-2012 Just checked Loyola Univ - New Orleans app Status Checker...DENIED!
I am seriously going to consider taking the LSAT in June. I know there are a couple of schools out there that accept those scores. I believe it is in my best interest...SERIOUSLY! So if you are looking at my page, PLEASE give me some insight with what I can do. I suck at the Logical Reasoning Section...I would love some insight and advice on how to ace this part of the test. I will NOT give up (easily).
3-5-2012 Got Letter in the mail from Memphis - Rejected! Not sad, I knew it.
2-28-2012 Memphis mailed out a letter. Nothing was stated on the app checker, just decision made.....which my assumption = REJECTED.
Applied to Suffolk because I got an e-mail from them....
2-27-2012 Applied to Valpo Law
2-22-2012 received an e-mail stating that I was rejected to Charlotte School of Law, and notified to apply to their AAMPLE program. :-(
2-15-2012 Florida Coastal e-mail admitting me to their AAMPLE Summer program....not interested. Far too expensive
2-11-2012 Jones School of Law Acceptance, requiring that I complete their Summer Conditional Program. At this point, I'd likej to weigh my other options (that I will soon acquire...hopefully) and see what else swings my way.
