Additional info & updates

I'm straight out of undergrad.
My second recommendation was not in until 1/18.

Dates might be a bit off as I'm in Australia and my parents are collecting my admissions mail.

2-2 UVA changed my status online; told me via email. Got a phone call from Dean Trujillo saying I am a Dean's scholar and will give exact amount after financial aid is in. I'm going to law school!
2-10 Letter from NYU saying I'm in. Very impersonal.
2-9 Email request from Toby requesting interview; came same day as complete email. Interview was really chill; we talked about sports for most of it.
2-14 Phone call from Toby saying I'm in! Ahhh! Came at 6 in the morning here when I'd been out all night. Sounded really stupid, but who cares!
2-20 Big binder of Harvard stuff with nice personal letter from Toby. Also have received 2 emails from students. Giving me a good feeling.
2-16 Personal letter from Michigan saying I'm in!
3-6 Mail from Michigan saying $18,000 a year. I'm a big OSU fan and have this horrible temptation to go to UMich for the rivalry culture.
3-10 Email from Columbia saying I'm in!
3-10 In at Duke via email. Note the lack of exclamation point. I need to get out of the South.
3-16 Did Yale online chat. Annoying people and rather rude admissions officer gave me a bit of bad feeling.
3-19 Letter from UVA. $15000 dollars a year. Probably not enough money to keep me in the South.
4-7 Mail acceptance from Northwestern. Said they will give me $40k/year if I defer for a year.
5-8 Thanks, Yale for having the courtesy to waitlist me a week after deposit date. Smooth.

Harvard it is!
