As for me:

I have an interesting life story (like I'm sure most of you do) and I feel that it may help me stand out this cycle (please please PLEASE). I'll post more specifics at the end of the process.

I'd say my LOR's are about on par with most of this cycle's applicants. I think my softs are pretty decent, 3 years of work experience and I'm a four year varsity athlete.

I wish you much success throughout the next few months.

Additional info & updates

11/14: UPenn, BU, and GULC complete today!! Only 7 more to go...I'm excited to find out where I'll end up this cycle.

11/18: Ack from NYU, UMich app complete, Harvard app "under review"...

11/20: USC app complete.

12/2: Complete at NYU and Georgetown wants to know if I'm available for an interview...of COURSE I am!!

12/8: Complete at Berkeley today. I spoke with an alumnus and scheduled my GULC interview for later this week. That was a much faster turnaround than I expected.

12/10: Had the GULC interview today and WOW their alumni base is amazing!! I hope they feel the same way about me.

12/16: Accepted to Fordham Day Program via status checker!!!!!!

12/22: Got a letter from Fordham informing me that I qualified for a merit award! Wow, thanks Fordham!!

12/23: Accepted to Boston University via phone call today!!!!!!

1/12: UMich has officially dropped out of the race for my affections. Some things just aren't meant to be.

1/26/09: GULC status changed to decision today so we shall see...UC Hastings offered me a spot on their waitlist today and I'm happy about it. My numbers aren't the best and I appreciate any consideration I get.

1/28: UPenn sent an email informing me they'd like me to consider their waitlist invitation. Considered and accepted!

1/29: Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only non "auto-admit" applicant that really enjoys this process...Preferred waiting list at GULC!! To me, that's GREAT news!!!

2/2: I am an official member of Columbia's reserve team!!

2/6: I logged into Loyola's status checker and they mailed my decision letter today...

2/7: Accepted to Loyola via snail mail!!!! The letter came with a very tempting merit scholarship. Thanks Loyola!

2/19: Rejection from Berkeley after going to faculty review. Reach School? Yes. Dream School? No.

Almost identical stats I cant help but think our applications are being weighed side by side at GULC, Hastings, and UPENN. Let's hope they take both of us!
