Books

The books are about growing up with diabetes- published by the Amer. Diabetes Assoc. My speaking gigs are for diabetes bio-techs. My PS is about living w/ diabetes. I'm a complete one-issue candidate but have a pretty well demostrated passion/drive for that issue at least.

Rankings
Thursday, November 17 2005 at 07:00 PM

As little surmised, my rankings are due to the fact that the wife is applying to B-schools and Boston is her top choice, followed by Chicago etc. Ultimately, our decision will be based on the practical concern of what city accepts us both...

Boston University

Congrats on your BU acceptance! I was wondering if you just received your acceptance letter today? BU is my top choice and I sent in my app and went complete around the same time you did but haven't heard anything back so getting very nervious.

funny thing

Funny thing about BU- They sent the big envelope to my permanent address- My lease is up in May so I put my folks' address down as the perm. address and for one reason or another, that's where BU sent my acceptance- got it in the mail 12-28.

Harvard

Too bad about Harvard. My guess is Chicago will come through for you though.

Good Luck

Good luck - we have similar stats and a similar situation (my fiancee is also applying to B-school). Hope things work out for you and your family. Judging from your acceptances, it looks like they will. Hope we both get in to Chicago.
