Worked 3 years in law firms as paralegal

1-09-07 Sent out majority of my applications via LSAC.

1-10-07 Applied to a couple more to round out my first round of apps. Not really thinking I am going to apply to many more after this.

1-19-07 Received Completes from Pace and Rutgers via e-mail.

1-20-07 Received Complete & Received from New England at same time by postcard. Syracuse sent postcard saying they received my application.

1-22-07 Scheduled interview at Pace for February.

1-31-07 Received postcard from Syracuse, complete. Small white envelope from Seton Hall, complete.

2-1-07 Received a small white envelope from NYSL: DINGED.

2-7-07 Went to an interview at Pace, went extremely well and I think will only improve my chances there. Got very encouraging comments from the interviewer. Good vibes!

2-28-07 Albany Waitlist. Better than a rejection but still kind of disappointed. Albany was one school I had a good chance at getting accepted right off the back in NY.

3-2-07 Waitlisted at Hofsta. Pretty relieved in a way, i was thinking an outright rejection would be coming. Hopefully I can get off it as Hofstra is one of my top choices.

Went for a visit to Hofstra to boost my chances off the waitlist. Had a pretty normal visit, got a 20 minute tour of the law building which is pretty nice, and observed a 1st year Property class. I was actually very impressed with the class, had very stimulating conversations and not a ton of pressure. Hofstra is still on the top of my list.

Well another waitlist. This time Penn State. I really can't be mad since my LSAT was low, and I am getting waitlisted at T2/reputable T3 schools. But still an outright acceptance would be nice at this point. The waiting continues....

Finally! Accepted to Widener. Harrisburg campus. Financial aid info to follow. A relief I finally got one. Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!

Another Waitlist, Pace, which is a disappointment to me cause I was pretty high on them especially after my interview. I wrote a couple letters to them reiterating my interest and still waitlisted... This is getting annoying

Accepted at New England School of Law. Received a large envelope and phone call from Dean. Packet contained a lot of excellent info. Most likely not going to attend as I am set on going to PA school.

Attending Widener unless I get off the waitlist of PSU-Dickinson. Made some good contacts while working here for PSU. Trying to work everything I can right now.
