May I ask if Hofstra offered you any money? There isn't enough room here for me to go off on Brooklyn, but I'd be happy to sign the "admit stressedwith apps" petition!

What did this acceptance letter look like (i.e., small white envelope)?

what do you think is better: Hofstra or Syracuse?

What did the Syracuse letter look like? Sorry, last one, I promise....I think.

I think syracuse has a better national reputation. Do you think i'll get in Hofstra with my numbers? Out of the schools you've been accepted to thus far, where would you go? where do you live now?

Hey, congrats on your acceptances. In regards to Miami, I feel like my app was just well rounded with lots of unique volunteer work, internships, clubs, study abroad, and some awesome LORs. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask and good luck.

applications are so frustrating.. We have similar numbers.. i'm 154 and 3.7.. I applied to Pitt too and I'm afraid to get my letter from them. When did you apply? I STILL haven't heard anything and I applied in October.

Re: Blah
Tuesday, December 06 2005 at 07:00 PM

I heard from Pitt a while ago... I can't even remember but I would say sometime in late November or early December. GOODLUCK!

I'd bet that the LSAT took you right out of the running. B.S. Congrats on New York Law...there is a chance I will see you there.

Syracuse
Sunday, December 18 2005 at 07:00 PM

Do you have any advice on getting into Syracuse? Did you do anything special with your app. for them?

NY Law
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I took the LSAT at NY Law. Nice building. They def have money. I haven't set up a visit yet. Probably in a couple weeks. It's in a great area. Their admissions dept. hasn't been all that helpful, which I just can't understand. They're not rude, just uninterested. Brooklyn's admission office really sucks, and Cardozo's is fantastic. St. John' is nice as well.

St. John's
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I just called St. John's. They have a menu option to check on your status. You leave your name, number, social, and someone calls back to let you know. They got back to me within a half hour. It is def easier to get into the cardozo may program. It doesn't affect their US News numbers, so they can take someone with a low LSAT or GPA (me) without it hurting their ranking.

oops
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

My post was meant as a response to someone else! Good luck with Cardozo, hope you hear shortly.

some how and some way I was accepted at Florida...very excited...good luck to you with the rest of them!

waiting
Sunday, November 06 2005 at 07:00 PM

hey congrats on all your acceptances so far!! When did you hear from Northeastern and Brooklyn Law??? I'm still waiting to hear from them too.

Cardozo May
Tuesday, December 06 2005 at 07:00 PM

Yes, after the waitlist, I asked to be kept on the Fall '06 waitlist as well as be considered for the May program. They offered me admission for May shortly thereafter. Barring an acceptance from Fordham within the next few weeks, I'll be at Cardozo. Good luck with your apps!!! :)

Still Thinking
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

It looks really good for St. John's, but I love Cardozo, and if they put enough $ together for me, they're still in it. And Brooklyn was my first choice, so I'm at least going to sit in on a class next week bf I rule them out. It'll all be done in 2 weeks, I think, at which point I'll withdraw my other apps.

Cardozo Part Time
Saturday, February 18 2006 at 07:00 PM

The 25th -75th percentile LSAT scores for Cardozo Part Time are 157-161, according the the LSAC website, if that helps.

endgame
Monday, January 09 2006 at 07:00 PM

Stressed, what are you leaning towards? It's almost over!

waitlist
Monday, January 09 2006 at 07:00 PM

Are you waitlisted on cardozo MAY PT program? If so, any movement will have to happen very soon, classes start in less than 2 months! I would talk to someone in admissions there, tell them all your offers. I would pay whatever is necessary to hold your seat at NYLS as their deadline approaches (its cheaper than cardozo's $1000 deposit at least) and be in contact with cardozo, making it clear you'll accept an offer from the waitlist and why you should get one. They're very responsive to email.

Well...
Monday, January 02 2006 at 07:00 PM

I'm leaning toward SHU -- but we'll see what the postman brings in the coming month.... Feel free to email me to discuss.

wow!
Sunday, December 25 2005 at 07:00 PM

you have quite a list of acceptances there :) to answer your question, i originally applied FT to Cardozo and was offered a spot off the waitlist for PT admission. Have you written a letter of continued interest? I think that should help. good luck!!

cardozo
Sunday, December 25 2005 at 07:00 PM

I did not get the letter yet, so im not sure when the deadline is. sorry!

Cardozo Deadline
Monday, March 27 2006 at 07:00 PM

Hey!!! Thanks for the congrats on cardozo. The deadline for the deposit is April 20. Good luck with the rest of ur apps. :-)

Cardozo
Tuesday, December 06 2005 at 07:00 PM

I was just about to send my deposit to Cardozo when Fordham accepted me PT. I thought about it for quite a while and decided that I really wanted Fordham. Sent my withdrawal letter to Cardozo a couple of weeks ago. Where are you headed?

NYLS
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I would like to put together a pre-semester get-together at a bar or restaurant for students beginning the study of law at NYLS in the fall. I think that LSN offers us an incredible chance to get to know one another before we embark on our journeys through law school, and I wish to use this website to this end. I also wanted to ask you if you are Jewish. Either way, please stay in touch.

The Big Apple
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I'm thrilled to be conversing with a fellow Jew headed to NYLS. To answer your question, no, I'm not in NY quite yet. I plan on moving there most likely in late July or early August. I want to leave myself time to get situated (i.e. get moved in, locate the best study spots and restaurants, and locate a synagogue). When are you planning on moving to New York?

Unsure
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I'm still waiting on a few law schools too, but I'm going to go ahead and send in my deposit to NYLS since it is due May 1. As of right now, my plans are to attend NYLS, but I cannot say for sure whether or not I will be accepted somewhere else.

Hey
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I'm sorry that you got another rejection, but on the bright side, we'll probably be attending law school together. I don't think that I am very competitive at any of the schools that i am still waiting to hear from. I think I'm set on NYLS too. Keep me updated on your final decision. I'm already doing preliminary housing research, so I'll let you know if I stumble onto anything great.

Housing
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

I will be staying near DC this summer too (it's where my parents live). I plan on moving to New York during the last week of July/first week of August. I will definitely keep you updated on how my search is going.

Withdrew from NYLS
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

NYLS treated me like crap during my visit, so I decided to go to Hofstra. If you want to know more about my visit, just message me through email or lsn.

Congrats
Saturday, September 10 2005 at 08:00 PM

Congratulations on all of your acceptances. Are you still planning on attending NYLS? If so I will see you in the fall.

I see that you have gotten into St. John's--CONGRATS! Are you going to attend? If so, did you apply to the full or part-time program? Regards.
