love the law, thanks. I am waiting to see if i get off the wait list at northeastern. I'm not a huge fan of nyc which is why i didn't apply to any other schools here. I only applied to schools that were liberal and had a strong public interest program. I have not received any fin. aid info from cuny yet. And you?

Hi, just curious, did you get waitlisted or deferred at UMN? If you're not sure, if the letter says something about you being on hold, it means deferred.

it is a hold, but it seems like a spurious distinction on their part as the hold list functions as a wait list.

I joined just for you. Who says I don't like you? I'm going to go crazy if I don't hear from Georgetown. I know they've made a decision, but I haven't gotten anything in the mail...

It is dissapointing that my graduate work doesn't seem to be as big of a factor as I would have liked. I think it is going to be a waiting game to the very end for me. Thanks for the words of solidarity ;), and congrats on your acceptances.

CUNY v. GGU

Thanks for your post re: CUNY and GGU. I visited CUNY as well, but came away with mixed feelings. The clinics, faculty and students seem great, but the facilities aren't--i.e. no wireless and the dark library. What do your friends say about the facilities? Also, is there a strong community feeling among the students? I couldn't tell--seems like most don't spend a lot of time together in the building, and many are commuters. I have not been to GGU either, and am concerned about the probation as well. Anyway--thanks for your thoughts!
