12/15/09:

Got my Early Decision deferral notice from UC Hastings today. I've been told though that this is not the end of the line for me as there are apparently applications that get flat out rejected at this point. So, I'm not a total loser. So far.

01/08/10:

Got an email from Harvard today and I did not get in. I did not faint from surprise. I only applied because I had a fee waiver and I figured, what the hell. Now I'm going to frame my rejection letter :)

01/11/10:

Got my rejection letters from NYU and UCLA today. Was not surprised at NYU but was a little disheartened about UCLA. I guess I always hope that if I shoot for the stars I'll hit at least one and so far it's not looking good. Hrrmm...

Got my rejection email from Berkeley yesterday. Again, not surprised, considering I already got rejected from UCLA which is lower ranked than Boalt. My Golden Gate decision is coming down next week and although it's pretty much a sure thing and second tier and all that, it will be nice to get ONE acceptance, after all this rejection.

Got my GG accceptance. I expected to get in but it was still nice to finally get an acceptance AND a bit of a scholarship. Now I know I have the option of going to GG for a year and then transferring if I don't get in anywhere else. But I should get in somewhere else, right? *fingers crossed*

USF website now says decision rendered. However, it seems my answer is coming via snail mail and I notice lots of others on here have gotten their acceptance via email. Is this a bad sign? Coming right on the heels of a Hastings rejection I really, really hope not.

Loyola decision mailed yesterday. Keeping hope alive despite continually being kicked in the gut. Does that make me optimistic or idiotic?
Also, rejected from UC Davis. No surprise there, the UC system seems to hate me.

Well damn. No from Loyola. I guess Golden Gate is gonna be it. Still have my fingers crossed that Santa Clara will come through for me, but I'm not too optimistic. *sigh*

USC website says "decision finalized" but no mailings listed yet. I am absolutely sure this will be a rejection but it's another "pending" to check of my list. Now come on Santa Clara!

Santa Clara says decision letter mailed. They still list my deposits one and two on there, I've heard that's a good sign. Fingers crossed!!

Dinged at Santa Clara. Oh well, at least my decision was easy. This morning I sent my seat deposit to Golden Gate. Cycle over, new stresses will begin shortly...

I think that positive thinking is only thing that's going to keep us sane through this progress! I know it's hard, but keep your head up and congrats on GG! I hope you get nothing but acceptances from here on out!
