Additional info & updates

2/10/13-Application sent to Nova
2/21/13-Sent applications to Florida Coastal, Barry University, University of Tulsa, Loyola-new Orleans, Washington University, and University of St. Thomas-Minneapolis
2/22/13-Sent application to Charlotte School of Law - ABA accredited two years ago but seems
like an up and coming school
3/6/13-GOt my LSAT score...a horrible 139. Just gonna wait on the rejection letters and regroup for June. Done sulking and ready to move forward and give this test the attention it deserves.
3/9/13-Received acceptance to Charlottes AAMPLE program. Have not heard from any other schools.
3/15/13-Received rejection letter from Nova, kinda bummed...
3/18/13-Within an hour of re-registering for the LSAT I was accepted to Florida Coastal's AAMPLE program. I will be shortly withdrawing my application.
3/20/13-Denied from Barry

January/2014-In at Barry and Florida Coastal and offered AAMPLE at Nova. I'm taking the AAMPLE route and terrified! Wish me luck!!

February/2014-I've paid my deposit for AAMPLE and I've also paid my seat deposit at Barry if AAMPLE doesn't work out. I figure it's smart to have a back up plan and it's worth the $400 for the peace of mind to know that I'm going somewhere in the Fall. Nova is still my front runner by a long shot so I'm sincerely hoping AAMPLE pans out for me. I will vlog the course on my youtube page.

2/24/14-I'm going to be starting an NSU law AAMPLE facebook page for the incoming 2014 class. If you want an invite just message me your facebook name and I'll send you one. We gotta stick together lol.

Good luck to you. Will be praying for ya come March 6th, as I know waiting on that e-mail with your LSAT score is about as nerve racking as jumping out of a plane. Let me know if you end up at Nova.

Honestly...

If you think you can do better on the LSAT, plan to retake it later this year. Even a score in the 150s will open up more doors to you. Consider each increased point equivalent to increased chances of getting into better law schools. I define better law schools as those that provide you increased employment and networking opportunities and better tools to pass bar exams. More importantly, it can result in law schools granting you money to attend their institution. Study hard and keep your eyes on the prize. Best wishes!

I'm scheduled and studying for June 10th. I've been putting more time in reading different materials. The Logic Games/Reasoning Bible are amazing! They are really a big help. In any case the plan is to stay calm come test day and knock it out of the park.

I am in the same position as you. I scored a 137 and I am prepping for June too! Good Luck! I am already doing much better, timed practices are key. I did a diagnostic exam and I scored a 140 so I guess I am headed in the right direction.

Awesome

Congrats on Nova! Just got in for fall today. Hoping to see how everything turns out with my other apps but nova is my frontrunner right now.

Did you ever consider FAMU? Saw that you are from the Orlando area.

back up plan

I have every intention of passing the AAMPLE program at Nova but jsut in case that does not happen would it be a horrible idea to pa my seat deposit at Barry in case I fail the program? It's $400 which sounds like a lot but is pennies in comparison to peace of mind. Thoughts?

I applied to Nova as well. LSAT 137 , 3.3 GPA and a higher GPA in my master's degree. Hoping to make it to AAMPLE.

I can tell you they won't care about your masters GPA but your undergrad might be enough. I'll be pulling for you!
