Additional info & updates

2 LOR's--1 academic and 1 from the director of the non-profit where I volunteer.

Took the lsat in October but will probably retake in December.

Slowly working on applications and personal statement.

Hope to have all applications done and turned in by the end of October.

Probably don't have a chance in hell but I always tell my son to forget what people say and just do your best. Guess I can't be a hypocrite on this one. Got to take my own advice. Had professors tell me I was too old, the wrong gender, couldn't be one being Mom, and that only "A" students get into law school. We'll see. Looking forward to getting the rejections.

Not sure if I would be a non-traditional applicant or not. I had a career in retail management until I had my son and decided to go back to school.

I am open to suggestions for more schools to apply to. I know I can't make a t20 but maybe top 100?

=============================================

Went to a law fair at my university today. Vermont admit rep was rude, Lewis and Clark sounded like I might have a chance, got 3 fee waivers from t10 schools but doubt I will use them, and was told "I might want to find a new career" by the rep of University of Iowa.

Feeling very rejected before I can even send in my applications...
