Additional info & updates

5-7-07: Wait listed at Hastings

5-16-07: I contacted GW after not hearing a word from them for 4 months. Apparently the letter notifying me that I was placed on the wait list was supposed to have been sent in late March, but it somehow slipped through the cracks.

6-8-07: Hastings Class of 2010!

I'm male. I sent a letter of continued interest along with an additional letter of recommendation about two weeks after hearing I'd been wait listed. In the letter, I let them know that I'd attend if admitted from the wait list. I also addressed what I thought to be my weakest point (LSAT).

USD vs. Loyola

Hi. I was just wondering why you withdrew your USD application and have kept Loyola-Chicago. I'm having a tough time deciding between the two. Thanks :)

I decided last night on Loyola for many of the same reasons (the firm i'm currently working at is in downtown chicago). I also feel like the school is mu;ch better connected and better known nationally if i should decide to leave chicago in a few years.. I did not get a chance to visit san diego so the last p/o your message really helped as well. In the end, I find that Loyola is a school I can use more to my advantage and the pieces have really fallen together in my personal life as well. Thank you for you reply and good luck with your decision. You have some wonderful choices :)
