Extra Curricular Information

- Community service, college debating and service organizations.

- Worked full time to support my family all throughout undergrad, hopefully will make up for lower grades.

- Sent letters of continued interest to Michigan, Duke and Virginia 03/07/2005. I doubt it will do anything but this way I feel like I atleast did something. **Update on letters - I received a letter back from UVA today (03/12/2005) saying that it had been forwarded to the appropriate person because the Dean I sent it to doesn't handle admissions; I was pleased he acknowledged it in such a personal way**

- Sent withdrawal emails to Case Western, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Washington and Lee on 04/06/2005.

- I've decided to stay on the UVA Waitlist (Priority out-of-state) until June 15th and if I don't get in I'm going to head to W&M. I'll be withdrawing the rest of my acceptances shortly as well as not returning the waitlist cards for Mich and Duke. I'm still waiting to see financial aid from GULC and whether or not I win the Moritz at OSU. I doubt either of these two could sway me at this point, but we'll see. (04/08/2005)

- After Financial Aid received, withdrew from GULC on 04/11/2005.

- After much debating I withdrew from OSU on 04/20/2005.

- Withdrew from UVA Waitlist on 04/21/2005. Will be enrolling at W&M in the fall - their financial aid package was too attractive to pass up.

******* I have decided that next year may be more kind. I really did have my heart set on UVA, so I've withdrawn from W&M and I'm going to apply again next year to about four schools (probably GULC, UVA, Columbia and NYU). We'll see what happens *******
