rejected by kentucky, which was a bit sad - not because I wanted to go there very badly but because I thought I would probably get in. If I don't get in there, what does that mean for the rest of my applications?

A few days later got in to marquette. I'm glad to have been accepted somewhere. I hope I don't have to go there though, as career prospects out of the school are less than ideal. All the same, happy to have gotten in somewhere. I'll see what the other 16 schools I applied to have to offer.

2-17, got into saint john's with no scholarship. so I don't think I will go there. I will be getting my rejection in the mail from washington and lee pretty soon. I still hold out a bit of hope for case western, they say they won't tell me if I get in finally until late april. We look forward to that.... (we?, yes we)

2-19, Waitlisted at Washington and Lee, which is better than the rejection I expected. Anybody have anything to say about Vermont Law School? Is it legitimate? I know it's really only for environmental, but is it really that good for that area of law? Number 1?

2-20, waitlisted at cincinnati. Somewhat dissapointing. As to the waitlist at washington and lee, there is a open house meeting type of thing on April 9th, and there will be some interviews and discussions. Do you think that this will be worthwhile to attend? Has anyone else been waitlisted there? I see many yellow dots on that chart for W&L. Is going there for that and speaking with admissions going to be very helpful?

2-24, waitlisted at penn state. I'm bored. Very bored.

later 2-24, waitlisted at lewis and clark. I'm going to change my user name to waitlist.

2-25, i got waitlisted at pitt today. Dissapointing. I got into Nebraska-Lincoln via a phone message at about 9:30 AM. Excited about that. I know it's third tier, but I heard that's not correct, that it's really just a mistake made this past reporting year in terms of the admission numbers. Does anybody know about that?

3-5, got in at case western via an email today. Very happy about that because I thought that waitlists are basically rejection lists. I will see what happens there, i need to be able to access the admitted students web page to see more, and the email says I will be able to do that in 3-5 days. I was hoping for an actual letter though. The 7500 dollar yearly scholarship is good, making it my 2nd cheapest school and my best option overall so far.

Congratulations on getting accepted at Case. How long were you on the waitlist before you heard?

thanks

I was on the waitlist for about two weeks. I think that technically it was a hold list, which I cynically assumed was a wait list, even though they said it wasn't. Thanks and good luck to you!
