Cornell

I dunno! I had just gotten over being thrilled about that when the mythical Rubenstein fell in my inbox. Leaning Chicago but might visit both. Thanks for the note! Hope you enjoy Ithaca!

I do want to practice in NY (though I'd definitely be open to practicing wherever I can find work, haha). But, really, what it came down to for me was feel. I liked the feel of Duke better: the small class size, the relationship between professors and students, the lack of detrimental competition between students, etc. And their focus on public interest/government is distinct - their dean having never worked in the public sector - and exactly what I was looking for. And, to be honest, I go to school in Central New York now and just want to get away. What drew you to Cornell? P.S. - Congrats on the great cycle! Would you go to NYU if you got accepted off of the wait list?

Congrats on Cornell! To be honest, Duke offered me a better package and was going to be cheaper in the long run. Also, I wasn't sure about locking myself into the NY market, and had some non-academic related factors that swayed me as well. Good luck with your next year and best of luck during 1L. PS. Awesome name.

Can you tell me why you chose Cornell over Michigan?
