11/7/2010 - The cycle begins!!! Hopefully getting in 3 or 4 apps today.

11/15/2010 - Sent in Yale today, so I've now got pretty much all of my apps in except for Penn. I'm still not "complete" anywhere (which is a bit unnerving), but I'm hoping that in the next couple of days that will change.

11/15/2010 - Ah, there we go. Complete at Chicago via status checker. Under review at Berkeley (does this mean I'm "complete" at Berkeley? Not sure...)

11/15/2010 - Under review at Harvard... "Alea iacta est!"

11/18/2010 - Under review at Stanford. I'm really hoping one of these schools will like me...

11/24/2010 - Under review at NYU. No other news yet, but I'm hoping for some activity in the next couple weeks!

11/30/2010 - Went complete at Yale. No big news in November, but hopefully December will be a big month for me!

12/1/2010 - Finally complete at Columbia. I'm complete at all schools I've applied to thus far.

12/10/2010 - Got the purple envelope from NYU today! Officially on the board! I love Manhattan so I'd have no problem going to NYU. This also means I will NOT be applying to Penn (glad I waited).

1/10/2011 - A month after getting into NYU, I am now also into U Chicago! Probably would choose Chicago over NYU, but we'll see--I really love NYC. Maybe I'll get another acceptance on 2/10?

1/18/2011 - Well, didn't have to wait quite as long this time: In at Berkeley via status checker!

1/19/2011 - Held at Harvard. Not the worst thing in the world and I'm honestly just happy to hear something.
2/2/2011 - Held at Columbia. Not thrilled about waiting even longer.

2/27/2011 - Haven't updated in a while, but here's what has happened in the past couple of weeks: Got dinged by Yale on my birthday (thanks!), but I was not too devastated by that one--was hoping for Harvard or Stanford more (and continue to do so). I also got a sweet $90,000 scholarship offer from Chicago that is vaulting Chicago toward the top of my choices. Hopefully I'll hear some good news in March!

4/19/11 - Placed on "reserve" at Columbia. Unlikely to ride this one out.
