Other than their propensity to beat top ranked football teams, why the decision to apply to an Arkansas school?
I am trying to keep my options open and not get my hopes up on any specific school (since im straight out of undergrad and dont have a TON of EC's im expecting to get waitlisted at a lot of the schools i am applying to

How do you think your recs were? We have almost identical numbers and I applied early to UVA but haven't heard yet. Obviously I'm a little nervous...

Nice job on UVA! This gives me hope for the T14 schools I'm applying to attend. I was goign to suggest that you apply to more schools until I noticed the acceptance. Anyway, I definitely hear ya' about the GPA situation. I had to work to put myself through school and ended up with a poor GPA as well but am ending with a very strong (3.9) GPA if you only look at the last 2 years. Good luck this cycle.

Thanks! I did apply to other schools (thought I'd post them as I get decisions)... most of the T14. I think it'll be a long wait, but the GULC letter was definitely exciting! You must be excited knowing you're going to your top choice (and having the cycle done with!).
