Extra Curricular Information

Not much, Charity work, involved in my church, Debate club, The Hague International Model United Nations delegate.

I really concentrated on my international upbringing and expatriate lifestyle in my personal statement. Lived overseas almost all my life, never lived in any one place for more than three years. Attended over 12 different schools over my lifetime in various countries. Hope to actually bring diversity to the campus, classroom, not the typical 'one of my parents is hispanic' kind of diversity.

Additional info & updates

Got my first acceptance today (01/25) from Penn State via Email.

(01/30) Accepted at Michigan State by mail with a 50% merit scholarship renewable each year.

(01/30) Accepted at Drexel, with $2,500 per year.

(02/09) Accepted at Albany via email, Financial info to come later.

Rejected by Northeastern by snail mail (02/26)

(03/25) Cycle is almost over, received scholarship infor from ALbany about a week ago, 15,000 per year renewable with 3.0.
Waitlisted at American, I won't respond to the letter, I dont think I want to go there.

04/09) rejected from mason and minnesota a couple weeks ago both by snail mail. Accepted at Mississippi also.

Wrote to Penn State asking for money and they awarded me $8,000 per year Deans Scholarship. I sent off my seat deposit yesterday. I have been placed on "HOLD" at FSU saying they will notify me of a decision by end of May. If accepted to FSU I will have a hard decision to make, I like PSU but instate tuition fees at FSU are ridiculously tempting. Penn State looks like it will continue its assault on the us news rankings however and who knows, PSU could be ranked better than Florida state by the time i would graduate.

This is basically the end of my cycle, I'm pretty happy and I think I've placed right about where my lsat and gpa would suggest.

* Funny I never heard back from Richmond, I applied in January, reveived a post card about a month later but have never received a decision, never wanted to go there but thought it was interesting.
