Additional info & updates

Applied during the 2015-16 cycle, decided to pursue post-college employment and retake LSAT. Retook 09/2017, expecting score next week.

10/11/17 - got my score back - 167. Excited to hit my PT average, but I had multiple 168s-170s during practice. Trying to decide whether to delay apps and retake in Dec., or apply now and retake in Feb for waitlists and scholarships.

10/13/17 - completed applications for W&M & GWU. Fee waiver from W&M, GWU, Emory, and UC Berkeley today.

10/14/17 - completed Emory's app and collected the rest of my LORs.

10/16/17 - complete at GWU and Emory. App received at W&M, but no word on being complete. Received fee waiver from GULC (merit, solicited) and applied this evening.

10/17/17 - app received at GULC.

10/19/17 - accepted at W&M. Complete at Georgetown.

10/20/17 - Scholarship offer from W&M = $33,000 of ~$41,000 tuition.

10/30/17 - accepted at Georgetown (letter dated 10/30).

11/6/17 - received acceptance letter from Georgetown.

11/7/17 - applied and complete at UT-Austin.

11/17/17 - applied to Vandy and completed alumni interview. Interview was very relaxed, informal, and informative. Even more interested than before.

11/20/17 - complete at Vandy.

12/2/17 - took the LSAT again, hopefully for the final time. I feel pretty good about it, and Im good with it either way. Pleased with this cycle so far.

12/5/17 - Accepted to GWU with 135k - 15k more than anticipated.

12/12/17 - Accepted at Vanderbilt. Visiting this weekend and picking up my Black Box in person.

12/22/17 - LSAT retake: 169!

12/23/17 - Applied to UVA with "Why UVA."

12/27/17 - Applied to UPenn.

12/29/17 - Semi-completed Cornell interview. TERRIBLE.

01/02/18 - Received PT invite from Duke. Applied to Duke and Northwestern.

01/03/18 - applied to UMich. Complete at UVA.

01/04/18 - applied to UWash.

01/08/18 - applied to NYU.

1/10/18 - completed UT interview. Went well.

1/11/18 - placed on reserve at Cornell. Totally botched my interview a couple weeks ago and had it removed from my file, so this is not a surprise. Sent a letter expressing continued interest.

1/12/18 - accepted at UT-Austin via phone call from Dean Rivera

1/14/18 - accepted at Duke via email (PT).

1/16/18 - accepted at Emory with $126k via mail.

1/17/18 - completed Northwestern's interview.

1/22/18 - sent "Why UPenn."

1/26/18 - $94,476 offer from UT (15k/year + NRTE)

2/1/18 - interviewed with WUSTL. Casual interview via Skype. Think it went well.

2/7/18 - accepted at WUSTL. Responded with request for travel stipend, t-shirt size, and additional info for scholarship committee.

2/14/18 - receive Scholar in Law award ($150k) at WUSTL.

2/16/18 - waitlisted at Mich. No "Why Mich." Kind of surprised by this one.

2/25/18 - negotiated increase from $99k to $114k at William & Mary.

2/26/18 - UR2 at UPenn.

3/4/18 - received $110,000 ($35k for 3 years, plus one-time $5,000 Deans Leadership Award) offer from Vanderbilt via email.

3/06/18 - waitlisted at Penn.

3/07/18 - Dean's award at Duke - $90,000.

3/16/18 - $6,000 increase from GWU.

3/22/18 - Waitlisted at UVA.

4/2/18 - withdrew from Penn WL.

4/11/18 - withdrew from GWU, Emory, and WUSTL.

4/13/18 - Duke increased my offer to $105k. Officially withdrawing from everywhere else and paying my deposit at Duke!
