Fee Waivers: Cornell, St. John's, Temple and 19 others that I didn't use.

St. John's - fat #10 env. Never received "complete" notification. Acceptance letter dated 3/22, postmarked 3/24, rec'd 3/28. Awarded full tuition scholarship.

Hofstra - large envelope. Acceptance letter dated and postmarked 3/31, rec'd 4/1. Awarded full tuition scholarship.

Rejection from Michigan dated 4/1. #10 env.

Georgetown - preferred waitlist, letter dated 4/1. Online status checker went to decision 3/31. Accepted from the waitlist at the end of April. Rec'd Dean's Tuition grant (need-based I suppose?)

Brooklyn - rec'd email 4/5. Acceptance letter dated 4/5 in medium-sized envelope. Letter awarding Richardson Scholarship ($11.5k/yr.) dated 4/7. Letter awarding add'l named scholarship ($1.5k/yr) dated 4/12.

Cardozo - acceptance dated 4/7, large envelope. Package included a separate letter awarding a Dean's scholarship ($10k/yr.)

Temple - acceptance dated 4/11, large envelope. Rec'd email 4/13 awarding Beasley Scholarship: full tuition the first year, half tuition the second and third years.

Fordham - waitlisted via online status check 4/15. Recd letter dated 4/18. Don't care.

Boston U - phone call rec'd 4/20. $25k scholarship.

Chicago - waitlist letter with offer to be considered for 2006 or 2007 admission.

Columbia - reserve letter dated 4/26. Re-reserved on 6/21.

Cornell sent me a fee/deadline waiver on 4/9 then turned around and "reserved" me on 5/3. If there are already "a few hundred" people on the reserve list, then why send me an invite to apply? I feel so used. I didn't bother to return the reply card. In spite ot that, they put me on their summer waitlist on 6/21.

Harvard waitlist letter dated 5/3.

Penn finally got around to waitlisting me via email on 5/17. Summer waitlist on 6/17.

It's all over...guess I'm gonna be a Hoya!

Did you really apply to some of these schools in March and April (Cornell)? Were the apps send after the deadline date?

Congratulations, that's quite an accomplishment. If you don't mind me asking, how did they notify you about your acceptance off of the waitlist? Thanks, and hopefully I will see you there next year!

Thanks! I received an email from Dean Cornblatt, then a packet in the mail a few days later. I was surprised (and happy).

Yes I sent in some apps in March/April. All were submitted before their respective deadlines with the exception of Cornell, which had sent me a fee/deadline waiver on 4/9.
