Additional info & updates

3-07-09 - Rejected from Seton Hall, one page letter via snail mail. Seriously? I realize I don't have the numbers but my law firm does a lot of recruiting there. One of my LORs is from a major player in the NJ legal field. Hmmmm. Please Rutgers let me in!!!

3-2-09 - Rejected from Pace. One page letter via snail mail. Confused that others with lower LSATs and not as much work experience got waitlisted and I got flat-out rejected. Cried my eyes out. Pretty sure I'm going 0 for 5. Probably wouldn't have gone to Pace anyway, over an hour from my house. Thinking I will need to retake the LSATs in June and apply in September-October.

Why I decided to join this board, I don't know, because it's really starting to freak me out that I'm not getting in anywhere. The waiting is really taking a toll on me! Here's the facts...

28, working as a paralegal at a large, well-known NJ law firm since graduation in 2002

BS in Poli Sci and Paralegal Certificate

Tried to get in full-time in 2002 with my GPA and a 147 LSAT and was rejected. Total half-assed attempt and I'm actually glad I did not get in, because I definitely wasn't ready.

The law is my true passion. Working in the field hand-in-hand with attorneys every day for 7 years, and I still want to do this? I better get in somewhere - I've worked hard and I deserve it!

Nice to "see" you finally make it. You and I are in the same boat! We will get through this together!!! Still nothing for me either. Called Pace yesterday and was told my file is still on hold. The wait is a real killer!
