Terrible Freshman GPA
Tuesday, April 12 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey I'm in the same boat with you. My first semester GPA was a .7....shhhhh don't tell anyone. I have a good streak so far so that should be encouraging! Best of Luck!!

good luck

hey, just wanted to let you know we have pretty similar numbers and i too had some "issues" my freshman year (me and my former major of biochemistry didnt get along too well.) Ive done pretty good so far with the few schools I applied too (though Georgetown dropped me in record time, hopefully youll have better luck.) my top picks are cornell and duke too; and i'm still waiting on both (anxiously i might add.) Good luck!

Cornell

Keeping my fingers crossed that we both get in...hope they like 166s! Good luck on GW too; what choice # is it for you?

Congrats and good luck. I saw your post on law school discussion about your fee waiver/waitlist dilemna. Same thing happened to me with Georgetown. I'm still thinking about whether or not i want to write the continued interest letter or screw it. I love the quote- can I steal it?

W&M fee waiver'd me too and then Waitlist! Bastards. I've heard rumors from the UMich crowd that that University is Waitlisting or Rejecting students they don't think will actually attend, thus keeping their admission rate low and bumping them in the standings. I'm now trying to convince myself W&M is doing the same thing. I think you have a decent shot at UMich and G-Town (they likes the higher LSAT)

i'm definitely turning down W&M. now that i've heard from BU, i'm ony waiting on Penn and Cornell. No clue what i'm going to do yet...
