Why didn't you apply at Penn? With those numbers, you'd be a lock...

In a nutshell, family obligations and personal preference. The expense and commute made Penn a non-starter for me.

what'll it be?

have you decided where you are going?

Widener DE! Either would be a free ride, and I know it wouldn't be everyone's choice, but Widener seems like a better match for me.

congrats on deciding

It must feel good to know where you are going. I just got waitlisted at Penn so, odds are that i will just take the money at Widener and enjoy going to school 3 minutes from my house. Maybe i'll see you there.

thanks!

(Argh, first reply got eaten.) It does feel good. It's a tough decision, but I am sure with your stats and med school background, you will excel and add much to whatever ls community you decide to join.

i'll be joining you

We should get together with drhomer and form a study group. We'd be unstoppable!

I'm wondering if they'd stick us all in the same section...

oh man!

with those stats what the hell are you thinking of such a low school ?

a "low" school?

Well, I'm a small person, so I was thinking, "Wow, it'll be good to go to a school close to the ground." Okay, seriously, I was thinking: I'm settled in the area, as is my family; I can be aware of the rankings without being ruled by them; and gosh, those Widener students and profs made goo first, second, and third impressions. As I said above, I'm aware that this wouldn't be everyone's choice, but I'm very happy with it.
