Additional info & updates

6/4: Decided on UW after a lot of information-gathering and soul-searching. Without scholarship $ for L&C it was just too expensive compared to in-state tuition and a scholarship from the higher ranked UW.

5/24: Received a call from the Assistant Dean at UW - I'm off the waiting list and accepted at UW!!! $5k/year scholarship and in-state tuition from the start make this a very appealing offer.

5/11: Accepted at UC-Boulder!!! Now I've got an interesting decision to make.

4/12: Accepted at Lewis & Clark!!! No scholarship money right now, but the letter seems to suggest that there may be some available later.

4/5: Checked my Lewis & Clark online status. It still says my current status is "Application File Complete" but the current status date is now 4/1, which is definitely updated. I'm wondering what this means.

3/30: Received email response from UC-Boulder - they received my LSDAS report back on 3/12 and are now reviewing applications "against the database" and will email me in the next week or so when the file is "foldered for completeness." I wish I knew exactly what this means! :)

3/29: Spoke to the Admissions Dept at Lewis & Clark, they said my application just went into review this week, but that the panel doesn't meet until later this week, so it could still be a couple more weeks until I hear from them.

3/27: No news recently from UC-Boulder. Their initial email (back on 3/10) said they would email me when my application was complete, but haven't heard from them. Emailed the Admissions Dept to find out more information.

3/25: Waitlisted at UW. Letter says they received almost 2,600 applications for the 180 positions in the first-year class. There are approximately 100 applicants on the waiting list.

2/25: Rejected at Berkeley. I was sort of expecting this, but was holding out hope that the combination of being a non-traditional law student and having two UC-B alum parents might sway things my way.

Hey!! I heard from UC-Boulder via email, and then they sent me some stuff in the mail. Are you trying to do the dual degree program there with Environmental Science? That's what I want to do. Good luck!
