My #1 is UCLA and with my numbers, I \\\'ll probably be waiting \\\'till May to hear from them. But I might go to Loyola or Hastings for better job placement in California. Nothing is cut and dry at this point.
They have absolutely not. I wasn\\\'t expecting a ton, but I thought at least Loyola and Hastings would put something on the table. I\\\'m applying for the FAFSA and some USC scholarships so we\\\'ll see.
Hey, our #s are really similar. What do you think is going on with Stanford? For our # range it sure is taking them a long time...
I'm guessing Stanford wants way better numbers than ours, unfortunately. I'm not holding my breath, but I guess I'm still open to the possibility. To be honest, I really want to live and work in SoCal and I think USC and UCLA will be better for that. I'm really jealous of your early UCLA admit, by the way. Good luck with Stanford!
Hey, you asked about my soft factors... None really to speak of. I went to Amherst College, majored math and econ, I am an associate in the society of actuaries but that didn't help me i'm sure. I do have divorced parents and came from a relatively financially strapped background which shows on the application for UCLA. Also, I wrote I want to go into politics from my financial background. Anything else you want to know let me know, my email address is michaelbaker23@hotmail.com. Best of luck with UCLA.
Jonny T. is actually a friend of mine. No hard feelings. Also, at the time, I had no idea what to expect from admissions so I tried to hit as wide a range of schools as possible. I really want to stay and work in California so I picked a bunch of them. Thanks for the UCLA encouragement, by the way.
It sounds like you're interested in Cali. Are you going to Withdraw from the WL at Mich?
where would you go with the offers you currently have?? hastings? georgetown? have you put down any deposits?
Wait it out. You worked hard for four years, you deserve to see where you can and can't get in.
