Additional info & updates

Still working at it. No matter what happens, this will be my last one. Good luck to everyone!

11/24 -- Got up this morning, pulled up the status checker and saw that they made a decision. Checked back at lunch and I'm in at W&M!! My first acceptance! This takes a lot of pressure off.

12/1 -- Personal email from the admissions office. In at UB with a full ride!

12/8 -- Dinged at Georgetown via email. For proper record keeping, my status changed to Decision Rendered on 12/1.

12/10 -- In at Maryland via snail mail but with a large envelope. Went to Decision on 12/4.

12/16 -- Dinged at UVA. I saw it coming. But for a stock email, it sounded very sincere.

12/24 -- Sigh... Big D at Cornell. But hey, it's a lot better than what COULD'VE happened.

1/15 -- I sent Cornell a LOCI and an additional LOR. Also, I got an email from Harvard. I'm on hold. Off to writing another LOCI...

2/3 -- Held at Northwestern via email. I could write a book on LOCI's at this point.

2/10 -- Waitlisted at Chicago via email. I don't even have to say it. You know what's coming next.

2/26 -- Waitlisted at Michigan via email. Staying positive. I've gotten into two pretty good schools so far. As far as I'm concerned, I'm all good.

3/13 -- Out at Columbia via tiny snail mail envelope. Like I said before, I'm still in the running at schools where I was certain I had no chance. For all intents and purposes, things are still looking good for me.

4/12 -- After my interview, Maryland offered me a nice scholarship. So unless I hear back from the two Ivy's, I'll be heading to Baltimore in the Fall.

4/22 -- Another one bites the dust... Coincidentally, I learned I'm still in the running at Cornell. Bittersweet day.

4/29 -- WL'd at Northwestern. Still waiting on Cornell.

5/26 -- With the final seat deposit due in less than a week, I'm kissing my Ivy League ambitions goodbye. Maryland, here I come!

Our numbers are exactly the same! You will have to keep me updated with Harvard, you're more gutsy than I am. :) lol Best of luck to you! The LSAT is a pain, I have taken it several times and hope I never have to take it again.

We have the same LSAT, I have a short list too, but only because I have to stay in Chicago. Hopefully we will get in somewhere, so we won't have to face that dreadful test again and it will be a thing in our past. Best wishes to you, somehow I feel that you will be fine, funny I don't feel the same for myself. Right now I am trying to figure out how to get off my top pick waitlist.

Sorry to see your rejection. I was wondering if you might have considered applying to more 3rd and 4th tier schools? To me, a degree is a degree, no matter where it is from. I think you have a good chance of getting in somewhere.

Harvard???

LOL! Love it - you go man! Sorry to hear that you did not get in at Baltimore. My scores are slightly higher than yours so I'm worried! I hope I don't have to take the LSAT again either - Water torture for sure! Well best of luck - let us know what Harvard says!!

Hey!
