Congratulations on Miami, if you don't mind me asking, when did you submit your application and when did you get that postcard saying that nothing more was required for your app... I'm really interested in your acceptance because we both have the same index. Congratulations again!

Thank you and congrats to you as well on Miami. I don't know for sure if I'll go to Miami when it's all said and done. While it's probably the nicest school that I'll get into unless Florida or Florida State pick me up, it's also one of the most expensive I've applied to. While I'd be willing to pay to go to Miami, I think it will be a very hard decision to make if I have to pay full price. All things being equal, I'd confirm at Miami today, but it's a hard choice to make when Arkansas has already cut my tuition down to just about $20k total for 3 years and the cost of living is much lower there, not to mention all of my other pending and soon-to-be pending apps. Basically, the more money Miami throws at me, the better my odds of actually ending up there, but it's still far too early to tell. Ask me again around late Jan. and I should have a better idea. ;) What about you? Do you think Miami is in the cards if you get Florida or FSU? Take care.

Congrats on your Miami acceptance. It is a great school to go to for law in Florida. Also, I think your deferral at UF is good news! I haven't heard squat from them yet and they're my first choice. I'm checking my mail so often I'm on a first-name basis with my mail-lady (Jodi). :-)

I think my soft factors are pretty strong. I got a great LOR from a prof who has been written about in Business Week. I also TA'd for him, and I work as a tutor for student athletes. I also think my personal statement was good, although nobody else has read it and told me so. Congrats on Miami and good luck with your others!

Hey guy, it's been a bit. I just thought I'd write to say what's up. On my end, I'm thinking about Arkansas or Mississippi unless I get into Colorado, Florida, or Florida State. Miami still looks killer, but damn it's a lot of money. Good luck on UF and FSU.

I see you have asked people about contacting FSU post-deferral....have you done anything?

Thanks for the congrats. I'm just waiting for Monday so I can call and make sure that I got in since the email had the general "Dear admitted student" heading. You know, just in case. Anyway, to your question, no, I didn't do anything to improve my situation besides get my transcripts for last semester sent about two months ago. I got straight As, which is good, but it only raised my GPA .02, so I doubt that was it. I guess my number just came up. I wish I could tell you more, but that's all I've got; some good luck. I was actually just about to give up on getting into FSU, so I guess my best piece of advice is to just keep holding out hope until you get in or it's the bitter end. I'm still cheering for you.

Hey were you the mysterious person that asked why FSU over GW?
