i am surprised UCLA didn't pick you up - especially with your outstanding grad work... yield? anyway, i assume cornell or michigan will see things your way.

just the usual -be articulate in telling your story and stay focused on your message. you are going to bring a number of outstanding intangibles to any school you attend. good luck!

Im sorry to see that you are on so many waitlists. I have been surprised that having a graduate degree or two does not seem to be particularly important to admissions committee members. Its a big disappointment.
