Extra Curricular Information

I'll leave this information here to help anyone that needs it. From my experience, my advice is if you're lacking in one area of your application highlight all the other good qualities, such as GPA, resume, PS, relevant courses, competitive undergrad college, etc. Also, now that you can take the LSAT an unlimited number of times, take it again if you can afford to. The fourth and final time around, I used the Case Briefs prep for free. It gave me the biggest jump compared to all my paid test prep. Don't give up!! If you have any questions, shoot them to me. Good luck guys.

-Took the LSAT three times, did everything from expensive test prep to taking time off to study
-Due to the number of waitlists, I have decided to take the June LSAT to give myself the best shot for admission off of waitlists
-Money listed for all 3 years

March 2018-
Visited some schools post waitlist notification and sending LOCIs to all

April 2018-
Sent LOCIs/Addendums to schools for month of April

June 2018-
-took June LSAT, hoping for a score bump, and hopefully good news to follow, sent out LOCIs/Addenda to schools while I wait for my score
-145----->150, hope this gives me the push I need to get off a waitlist

July 2018-

-Going to wait and see if I get off of any other waitlists and money situations, but so relieved to be going back to school and being closer to ending this waiting process

-7/3- Got into Albany!!! With money, one of my top choices, so happy and relieved

-7/5- Received money from Pace, but with GPA stipulations of a 3.0. Unsure if I should take more money with stipulations or less money with none. Probably leaning toward no GPA stipulations.

7/9- Put my seat deposit down at Albany. Law school here I come!!!

7/16- Accepted into NYLS via email with 7,500 only for the first year

7/17- Accepted to Hofstra via phone call, more money than all, also higher tuition than all

I am wishing you the best of luck to law schools. When did you apply to schools and when how were you notified that you were waitlisted at Albany Law?

I checked my status checker and it said decision mailed. A couple days to a week later, I received a waitlist letter in the mail.

Hey are you applying to more schools? I had similar stats and blasted out my app and used the laws of averages to leverage admissions & $$. If you have any Q LMK.

Hi! I may if my June LSAT score doesn't pan out how I want it, but I should get it by next week and then I can decide. I am feeling pretty confident about a score raise, and I am in constant contact with the schools I want to attend most. They are going to reevaluate my app with the arrival of my new score, so I am hoping for the best.

They emailed me asking if I wanted to remain on the waitlist. I confirmed and sent a June Letter of Continued Interest.
